Joins us on September 10th and 11th at Green Lake Town Square for the annual film festival of another Green-Lake-based nonprofit, Freeland USA. This year the focus is “A Better World: Beyond Pandemics.”
While the whole event sounds worthy of camping out at Town Square, we’re particularly looking forward to the panel on Saturday at 10:30am titled Regenerative Agriculture – Feeding People and Mitigating Climate Change, Biodiversity Loss, Soil Depletion, and Pandemics. This will be followed by a screening of the documentary Living Soil, featuring innovative farmers and soil health experts throughout the US.
This festival is a global storytelling platform featuring films about people, wild animals and ecosystems that are facing daunting challenges. These are stories of hope and inspiration. It’s an annual weekend festival that includes films, panels, live music, local food, and workshops presented to the public, critics, students, aspiring filmmakers, and activists.
